Jones Fabricare uses the Prestige Preservation Program's system to expertly preserve your gown:
Inspection: Jones Fabricare pre-inspects your gown to determine the best cleaning process. These methods make certain that oils, visible stains and marks are removed. Also, we remove those troublesome sugar or salt stains that are "invisible" to the eye. If left in place difficult stains discolor and possibly deteriorate the fabric. Prestige Preservation cleaning techniques guarantee that all precautions are taken to remove these stains.
Cleaning and Pressing: Expert care is taken in pressing, folding, and inserting your gown into the preservation container. How a garment is folded for storage is very important. The fabric must be folded carefully to prevent creases that may cause a permanent effect on the gown.
Packaging: The Prestige Preservation Process packaging and sealing of your treasured gown is the final step. First, your gown is carefully placed within a high-quality inner box. Ordinary boxes use packing tissues that contain a form of acid which may damage fabric by causing a discoloration or burn. Prestige Preservation uses a container and tissue paper that is "acid-free" so this type of damage is prevented. The inner box is then sealed with a heat-shrink clear vinyl material. This encapsulating system protects the contents from contaminates such as air, moisture, dust, or infestation. After sealing, a proprietary process removes the oxygen from within this seal. The oxygen is replaced by a special formulation of inert gases that enhance the preservation process. Your gown is then placed in an outer protection box. The outside box is printed with information about the preservation process and a description of the warranty provided and instructions on what to do if you have any concerns.
